"It is an honour to write this recommendation letter for this phenomenal home helper. She worked with us for a period of two months, from December 2021 to January 2022. We hired her because we needed someone to look after our child during the school holiday (NB our is child is on the autistic spectrum, he is semi-verbal and is 8-years old). We got to know her through an advert that she placed on a Facebook page. Her duties included cleaning, looking after the house, teaching our child and designing healthy meals suitable for a child on the autism spectrum disorder (ASD). During the time of her employment with us, she proved to be a diligent, reliable, very professional, and hardworking individual. She executed her duties with passion and dedication. What impressed me more is the fact that she took time to understand the key pillars of her duties – which is autism and the suitable diet for that condition. This understanding culminated in her drawing up a list of items, to buy, which she forwarded to me a few days prior to commencing work at our house. The comprehensive list was well thought out and it reflected a strong understanding of a healthy diet for an autistic child. She ensured the house was well maintained and clean. She was always focused on her work. She cooked good and healthy meals for our child. She is an innovative cook who is willing to try out new and different recipes – I rate her cooking as excellent. Furthermore, she is very much to willing to learn. She never hesitated to ask for assistance if she comes across unfamiliar situation. She would talk to me about the challenges she was facing with regards to teaching our special needs child. "This amazing woman has been under my employ since 1 November 2022 as a housekeeper and nanny to my two children, a boy aged 3.5 and a girl aged 18 months. Her duties included caring for both children at home, seeing that they are clothed, fed, stimulated, happy and safe; as well as ensuring that our household runs smoothly by performing cleaning, laundry, organisation, and food preparation duties. When it comes to the household, she keeps things running smoothly, ensuring that clothing is always clean and in cupboards, the floors are spotless, the grocery list is up to date, and that rooms look presentable for guests. She has also taken very good care of our dogs, showing that her nurturing and caring spirit stretches beyond just our children. She has never once arrived late, and has the utmost respect for our time during work hours. She always ensures she is contactable, even after hours, and readily offers additional assistance wherever she feels we might need it. "She began working with my family in 2020 when my daughter was 4 months old. She became part of the family and stayed with us until our emigration to the United States in August 2025. She was our full-time child carer and housekeeper – she managed all cleaning responsibilities, household deliveries and the care of the children. She managed the care of our twin boys from birth to over three years and my daughter from 4 months until 5 years old. Her duties ranged from feeding, bathing, playtime, general upkeep of the house and even management of our other household helpers.
