Home Match operates as a job board and candidate discovery platform specifically designed for families seeking nannies, domestic workers, and carers, and for home helpers seeking employment. Home Match is not a recruitment agency and does not act as an intermediary, employer, or labour broker in any employment relationship.

By accessing or using the Home Match platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Home Match provides a technology platform that connects families with home helpers. We are not party to any employment agreement between a family and a candidate. We do not guarantee the suitability, qualifications, or conduct of any candidate listed on the platform.

All profiles are screened before being published; however, Home Match does not conduct work permit verifications, criminal background checks, reference checks, or credit checks as part of standard listing. Families are solely responsible for conducting their own verification before making any hiring decision. A working trial is strongly encouraged before confirming any employment arrangement.

You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You may not share your account with third parties.

Home Match reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform.

Candidates who submit profiles to Home Match consent to their profile information being made available to registered families on the platform upon profile approval. Candidates may request removal of their profile at any time by contacting us.

Home Match reserves the right to reject, edit, or remove any profile that does not meet our standards or violates these terms.

Families purchase credit packages to unlock full candidate profiles (including contact details and references). Credits are non-transferable and are tied to the purchasing account. Purchases are subject to our Refund Policy.

Unlocking a candidate profile grants the family access to that candidate's contact details for the purpose of direct employment discussions only. Profile data may not be used for any commercial purpose, distributed to third parties, or stored beyond the need for the hiring decision.

You may not use Home Match to: (a) post false, misleading, or fraudulent information; (b) harass, discriminate against, or abuse candidates or families; (c) solicit candidates for purposes other than direct domestic employment; (d) scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from the platform; (e) circumvent the platform's access controls or payment system.

All platform content, design, and software are the property of Home Match and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Candidate-submitted content (photos, CVs, bios) remains the property of the respective candidates.

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Home Match is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to damages arising from employment decisions made on the basis of candidate profiles.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

Home Match may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
